UV Stand up units offer a fast, convenient and hygienic tanning service, ideal for those of you who want to build up a beautiful tan, but who don't have much time on your hands.
Sahara Tan recommends that a lotion is used with any UV tanning application. These not only accelerate your tan (up to 60% faster tan), but provide your skin with the nutrients sometimes lost by exposure to UV light.



Su-Do Spray Tan

Su-do tan will give you the perfect tan you've always desired. The shade of brown will develop according to your own natural skin pigments - no orange or yellow tones. Su-do is a very populuar tan, a leader tan company in its field. Your brown flawless tan can be achieved in minutes, developing in 5 hours & lasting for up to 10 days. A very popular treatment.

PREPARATION
Moisturising on the day of the tan should be avoided. If necessary use very light, non-oil based products and remove prior to application. Shaving and preparation of the bikini line should be done the day before to give pores time to close. Deodorant and perfume must be avoided on the tanning day as they react with the tanning lotion. All make-up must be removed if the face is to be tanned. Su-do Tropical Tan does not stain hair or lips.
CLOTHING
For full body tans, clients may choose to wear a bikini or bra and pants. For partial tanning, clothing should be worn that gives access to those areas which need to be tanned. Su-do advises that colour may be difficult to remove from some materials.
Su-do Tropical Tan will wash out on natural fabrics but not synthetics.
During and after the treatment, please wear either dark clothing that will not show the fine brown overspray or clothing that you do not mind being dis-coloured.
LEAVING THE SALON
Customers are advised to wear dark, loose fitting clothing when leaving the salon.
Traces of the tanning solution can be transferred onto clothing and bed sheets unless a shower has been taken 5 hours or more after the tanning application.
DEVELOPING THE TAN
Su-do Tropical Tan takes 5 hours or more to develop its full colour strength. All bathing, showering, swimming and vigorous exercise must be avoided at least 5 hours after receiving the airbrush tan. Small amounts of colour may be washed from the skin during bathing but this does not spoil the tan.
MAINTAINING THE TAN
With regular moisturising using 'Vibrance' by Su-do Body Balm, your Su-do tan will lasts up to 10 days depending on skin type, skin care and bathing routine. Su-do also advise that regular bathing in either the swimming pool or sea will reduce the longevity of the tan. Su-do recommends full exfoliation on day 4, followed by a 'top­up tan' to achieve the perfect tropical tan.
'Vibrance' by Su-do Self-Tanning Products can also be used to enhance and extend the life of your tan.
SUNSCREEN
Su-do Tropical Airbrush Tan offers no protection from the sun. High factor sunscreens and regular moisturising are always recommended when sitting for prolonged periods in the sun.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Tan should not be offered to clients who have psoriasis, eczema, cuts or abrasions. Must not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy due to melanin changes in the skin.
